IMSU Commences Registration and Clearance of 2014/2015 Admitted Students

This is to inform the 2014/2015 newly admitted students of Imo State University that registration and clearance has commenced.

Candidates are advised to take note of the following:

1. There will be no payment of acceptance fee by the newly admitted student. This is due to the declaration made by the executive governor of Imo state on his visit to the institution few weeks ago.

2. Education in Imo State University is now totally tuition free (except for axillary fees listed below). This means that both indigenes and non-indigenes will not pay school fees.

3. According to information posted at the IMSU Admissions Unit today, the following are the steps to be taken by the students.

STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED BY FRESH STUDENTS FOR 2014/2015 REGISTRATION.

-Print out the 2014/2015 Post UTME Admission Status from the online portal by clicking here

-Go to the IMSU Admissions unit and present your Admission Status Printout to the staff for verification.

-Admission Unit will give you duly signed clearance paper after verifying your payment tellers forthe various services below.

-Move to the Faculty officer of the faculty you were admitted into and present your clearance paper for the screening and registration.

Here are the required payments for all the fresh students, both indigenes and non-indiegenes:

-Identity card - 1,000 Naira - Diamond Bank (0004319707)

-ICT Access - 8,500 Naira - Diamond Bank (0029265968)

-Medical - 5,000 Naira - Zenith Bank (1012222862)

-Sports - 2,000 Naira - Zenith Bank (1012222932)

-HandBook - 2000 Naira - IMSU Microfinanace (1100002700)

-Files - 1,000 Naira - IMSU Microfinance (1100002690) Other Relevant Information:

-Come for the clearance with your other documents. Although this was not stated but save yourself a lot of stress. Check my previous updates for the necessary documents.

-The IMSU Microfinance bank and Zenith Bank are located behind the admissions unit.

-The earlier you came the better for you. Remember that thousands will be processing the same thing as you.

-Be careful in filling your tellers and forms and keep all your copies safe to avoid double payment.

-Ask questions if there is anything you do not understand.

-Please keep all your papers safe. Don't loose them and don't patronize touts.

-Make sure you pay for each service at the specified bank and into the correct account number.
