How to Check 2018 UTME Results Online

Latest Update: JAMB is yet to release the 2019 UTME results. 

According to JAMB's Head of Media and Publicity, Fabian Benjamin, the board is still in the process of screening the results due to the fact that a lot of fraudulent activities were discovered.

This is to inform all that candidates that  participated in the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) 2018/2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they can now check their results online.

Follow the 4 simple steps below to check your 2018 JAMB UTME result online without scratch card i.e. FREE!
  1. Go to JAMB result checking portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CheckUTMEResults.
  2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number/Email Address in the required column.
  3. Click on ‘Check My Results’.
  4. The portal will load your result if it’s ready.
NB: JAMB UTME results are released in batches. If the portal returns with ‘You Do Not Have Any Result Yet’, that  implies your result is not yet ready. SO you have to check back later.

ESUT 38th Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2017/2018 Session

The management of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) invites the general public and the entire University community to the 38th Matriculation Ceremony Exercise of 2018/2019 academic session newly admitted candidates.

ESUT Matriculation Ceremony Schedule.

ESUT 38th Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Friday, 26th April, 2019.
Time: 11am.
Venue: Convocation Arena Agbani, opposite Faculty Of Applied Natural Sciences (FANS)
This exercise is very important and therefore mandatory for all fresh students. Any student who fails to participate in the matriculation exercise will be deemed to have forfeited his, her admission. Attendance will be taken at the venue.
Nevertheless, only students that have paid their school fees will be allowed to participate in the exercise.

ESUT Matriculation Gown Collection Procedure.

In line with the tradition of the University there will be a two – day orientations exercise for the new students. During the exercise, every student is given matriculation packages and academic gown on payment of approved cost of services as follows:
  • Hiring of Academic Gown: (Undergraduate) – N10,000.00
  • Hiring of Academic Gown: (Postgraduate) – N15,000.00
  • Matriculation packages – N5,000
The purpose of this communication is to request all fresh students (Undergraduates & Postgraduates) to visit our portal.esut.edu.ng, select sundry fees to generate invoice for the academic gown and matriculation packages and then proceed to any commercial bank to make payment with the generated invoice.

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) that the management of the institution has announced the schedule for the 2018/2019 academic session orientation programme.

ESUT Orientation Programme.
ESUT 2018/2019 Orientation Exercise has been scheduled to hold between Wednesday 24th and Thursday, 25th April, 2019.

During the orientation week, lectures on issues relevant to the students’ social and academic life in the University will be delivered by selected staff of the University, while the Vice Chancellor will deliver an address during the opening ceremony on the first day.

This exercise is very important and therefore mandatory for all fresh students. Any student who fails to participate in either the orientation exercise will be deemed to have forfeited his, her admission. Attendance will be taken at the venue of the orientation.

Nevertheless, only students that have paid their school fees will be allowed to participate in the exercise. All fresh students are therefore encouraged to pay their full school fees and complete their registration immediately to enable them to participate in these important events in their career in the University.

FUD Proficiency Programme Admission Form for 2018/2019 Session

This is to inform the general public that the Federal University of Dutse, FUD has introduced Proficiency programme in Arabic, and that application forms are on sale.
The programme will  be conducted in weekends and it consist of the following:

How to Apply for NPA 6th Regular Course Admission 2018/2019 Session

Nigeria Police Academy admission form

Nigeria Police Academy (NPA), Wudil, Kano is inviting suitably qualified Nigerian citizens for admission into its 7th Regular Course degree programmes for the 2019/2020 academic session.
Candidates admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil degree course will undergo a combined academic and Police training for a minimum period of Five (5) Years leading to Bachelor’s degrees and commission into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
Sale of online application forms for admission into the 6th Regular Course of degree programme of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, will commence on Monday, 22nd April, 219 and end on Monday 22nd July, 2019.

Police Academy Admission Requirements.

a. Candidates seeking admission into the Academy must be Nigerian citizens and must be between 17 and 22 years of age, and must have a height of not less than 1.67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) if male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) if female. In addition, male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 86cm (34 Inches for those between 21 and 22 years of age). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or mental disability.
b. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), the National Examinations Council (NECO) or the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) at not more than 2 sittings and including a credit pass in English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to the candidate’s chosen course of study in the Academy.
c. Candidates must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness.
d. SSCE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OR CERTIFICATES RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS TAKEN BEFORE 2015 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

How to Apply for Police Academy Admission.

  • Interested Applicants are advised to go to the Nigeria Police Academy’s Website: http://polac.edu.ng/purchasepin in order to obtain or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.
  • The RRR code obtained can be used to make payment of N3,000.00 through any commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria.
  • Applicants must, in addition, apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board [JAMB] as well as sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Candidates need not select the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as a University of choice in the JAMB form. However, only candidates who obtained the minimum UTME scores of 180 which is the Academy’s Cut-off mark in JAMB and purchased the Academy online Application Form will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Applications are to be submitted online. On submission of the applications, candidates are required to download Acknowledgement Form. Candidates who obtained the minimum national cut-off marks or above, will be enabled to download and print their examination cards.

NPA Entrance Examination Date, Conditions and Requirements.

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Selection Examination, will be Pencil and Paper Based (PPB).  The examination shall comprise of a General Paper (Section A) which is compulsory for all candidates.  It will cover areas such as general knowledge and current affairs, English Language and Mathematics.  Other sections are to be selected according to candidate’s Faculty of choice.  It will be conducted on Saturday the 10th August, 2019. Only candidates who meet the Academy’s cut-off mark of 180 in UTME and above will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination at the 19 designated Centres. The list of Centres is in the Academy Website.  Eligible candidates are to bring along to the examination venue their Acknowledgement Form, Examination Card, current JAMB Result Slip and two Postcard size photographs (3.5×5 Inches) which should show only from the chest upwards.  At the back of each of the two Postcard size photographs, the candidates must write their name, State of origin, Examination Centre and signature.
Only candidates who are successful in the Selection Examination will be invited for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Board screening and interview. The list of successful candidates will be published on the academy’s website and in some national newspaper.

NASPOLY [ND, HND, Pre-ND & IJMB] Admission List for 2018/2019 Academic Session | 1st & 2nd Batch

This is to inform all those who applied for admission into the Nasarawa State Polytechnic (NASPOLY), Lafia, National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session that they can now check their admission status.

How to Check NASPOLY Admission List.

As at the time of this publication, NASPOLY HND and ND admission lists are only accessible on the Notice Board of the Polytechnic.
Admitted ND candidates are to indicate their acceptance of rejection of admission from any Accredited JAMB CBT Centre and print out their JAMB Admission Letter.  Failure by Candidates to indicate the Acceptance or Rejection of the Admission offered, would be considered not admitted.
The Nasarawa State Polytechnic , Lafia CBT Centre will also be available for the exercise.
Successful Candidates should not pay any money until they obtain Admission Letter from JAMB.

NASPOLY Resumption Date for 1st Semester 2018/2019 Academic Session

This is to inform Returning Students and newly admitted Students that the strike embarked upon by the Teaching and Non- Teaching Staff of Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia has been called off.
Students are therefore advised to resume immediately as lectures and all academic activities will commence as from Tuesday 23rd April, 2019.
Both Returning and New Students have two weeks only to complete registration.
The Public is also reminded that the Second List of successful Candidates for Higher National Diploma (HND) Computer Science, Nation Diploma(ND) in all Programmes, Pre-National Diploma (Pre- ND) and IJMB has been released.
Newly admitted Students are to collect their admission letters and commence registration immediately.

Following the publication of the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU postgraduate admission list, the management of the institution released the registration procedure for the newly admitted postgraduate students.

  • After confirming your admission status, download your notification of admission.
  • Proceed to your faculty for screening.
  • Login into ABU SPGS portal (https://spgs.abu.edu.ng/forms/login) with your email and password to generate a transaction ID for payment of the non-refundable acceptance fee.
  • After payment, you can proceed to the SPGS to collect your admission letter.
